Los Angeles Food Waste Grant Challenge Application Guidelines
Applications are due by 5:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2017.
Your application should be no longer than 5 pages, double spaced, with 12 point font.
Nonprofits, Neighborhood Councils, faith based organizations, and other community organizations are welcome to apply.

There is no form or template for your application. We ask that you submit the following information and answer the questions below in your application.
Your application must include:
- The name of the organization that is applying
- The address of the organization
- The organization’s tax ID (EIN) Number (Neighborhood Councils are exempt)
- The name, email address, and phone number of the primary contact for the application
- Contact information for any additional organizations or partners

Evaluation Criteria
Grantees will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Impact
- How much food is rescued/reused/diverted by your project?
- Scalability and/or Replicability
- Is your project replicable in similar situations? Is it scalable?
- Innovation
- Does your project offer new ideas, methods, or approaches to reducing food waste?
- Engagement
- How many people are actively involved in your project? How are people affected by or do they benefit from your project?
