Meet Katrina. She is a Civil Engineer for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering with nearly 15 years of experience working in both the project management and construction management of major infrastructure projects. Katrina currently leads the racial equity team for Engineering to implement equity at all levels regarding hiring and promotion as well as implementing equity with all Engineering projects within the City.
In addition, Katrina is part of a team that is currently developing a pilot project to establish and implement racial equity indicators within infrastructure to assist the entire City with planning new projects to increase the level of equitable spending within the City by all Departments.
Katrina strives to make a better life for all people who live and work within the City of Los Angeles.
